Pajama Mama

Read MoreI have loved the pajamas as outerwear trend long before it was a thing.
Read MoreOk, so far we have seen our classic but structured black cardigan act as a denim jacket in the distressed jeans look, and a hoodie in the sexy sweats lounge look. In this third style, it acts as a blazer. But before we get to that, I want to zero in on the leather shorts here.
Read MoreIn life, we tend to keep revisiting the things we love. Food, friends, films, fashions. We are wired to go after what makes us happy. This is a good thing when it comes to finding maximum use out of a prized item of clothing. If you start to dress by choosing a piece you truly feel good in, then your outfit will be a hit. When your gut urges you to go for something, it's usually right. Unless if it's that awful guy you can't stay away from, or say, heroin. Then you hit the IGNORE button. But this ain't that. This is a sweater. So we're safe😉
Read MoreMan, do I hate cardigans. Well, "hate" is a strong word, so it's more reasonable to say I don't like them. It's not so much the item itself, just how I personally look in them, which is to sum up in one word; "ridiculous".
Read MoreThis fourth look in the Spiritual Gangster series is an interesting mix: it made me feel sweet and sexy, girly and punk, Evil Queen yet Pretty Princess. I'm highly aware that this is a ridiculous range of emotions for going to Synagogue, but I'm just airing my thoughts😝...
Read MoreThis third Synagogue look is extremely comfortable. I never wear anything that isn't comfortable since that's just annoying to me, but this outfit feels yummy.
Read MoreWhat I love about this second synagogue/ any special occasion look is that it's a refreshing departure from my usual sharp, black, edgier style. It's always nice to throw yourself a curveball every so often.
Read More'm excited to present a series of looks inspired, ironically, by none other than synagogue. Always a fan of a play on words, I initially titled this post "SINagogue". That felt a taaaddd sacreligious. Then "Spiritual Gangster" popped up, and I loved it since that slogan has become ubiquitous, and now I could put my own twist on it.
Read MoreIf you take a girl to Alexander Wang in the middle of Winter , she will dream of Spring and all the joy it brings.
Read MoreMy all-time favorite designer for a beautiful dress is Morgan Le Fay. The pieces there are so delicate, feminine (not usually my style at all),and are breathy, ethereal works of art. I always feel like a goddess wearing something from there.
Read MoreWell, I guess this all depends on what your door looks like😉. I chose this title since this ensemble evokes a classic white tee and denim feel, only winterized and massively updated. I never wear head to toe one designer (lame city), but each piece here is DKNY.
Read MoreI love interesting jewelry that tells me a story. It can be five bucks off the street. If it speaks to me, it speaks to me. That's basically the philosophy I apply to everything. On a family trip to Israel a couple years ago, we made a visit to this fascinating Yemenite jeweler who makes every piece by hand. A time honored craft.
Read MoreLet me start by saying that I randomly popped into Norma Kamali in NYC last year, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it changed my wardrobe. I'm hooked. The clothing is super comfortable, sexy, fun, and wait for it...pack able. It somehow does not wrinkle. I'd say at this point 75% of my wardrobe is comprised of it.
Read MoreI always love a nod to menswear. I love things "cocked jauntily to the side". Any excuse just to utter that phrase. A newsboy cap is just plain cool. I have quite a collection at this point. Different textures, colors, materials. I feel like the dude in the classic children's book "Caps for Sale". But without the monkey harassment🙈🙉🙊,which works out better for me.
Read MoreOut the gate, it is the most comfortable way to dress that doesn't involve the words "pajama jeans". Or "athleisure" (how did that become a word?). I legit felt like Stevie Nicks shooting an album cover in this ensemble.
Read MoreI adore fashion. But for me, it must look effortless. I am an organic human to the core in all I do. If an ensemble took more than a few minutes of thought, and appears to be based on too much effort, I feel uncomfortable and whip it off. I am never happy looking rehearsed. If I have to overthink it, no bueno. I wear my clothes, they do not wear me. Never ever let an inanimate object overpower you. It’s your message, what you wear gets life from YOU! That’s why I prefer sexy, undone hair, natural nails and makeup.
